Tré Builders, LLC was established in 2005 by Dave Agnello, Brent Sanders, and Steve Hamlin with the goal of providing construction clientele with unrivaled service and performance. Our approach, which is based upon a culture of responsibility and accountability, has been consistently and successfully executed in large part due to our extensive experience within the Gaming, Resort, and Hospitality construction industry.
Since formation, Tré Builders has managed over a billion dollars in construction projects, including the $500,000,000 MGM grand Detroit Hotel and Casino. Successes on that project included far exceeding established City of Detroit Diversity goals, opening the property two months early, and finishing substantially below budget. In addition to managing all of the construction, Tré Builders role also included extensive interaction with Ownership, since the company was entrusted to also serve as the onsite Owners Representatives.
Tré Builders has constructed numerous projects, ranging from partial office remodels to entire destination resorts that have been effectively managed and completed through the use of the diverse contracting methods. Whether working as a General Contractor, Construction Manager, Owner’s Representatives, or providing specific focused assistance through our Project Management Services, Tré Builders has the experience and ability to adapt how we do business to best suit our customer’s needs.

Dave Agnello is a third generation builder who received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Building Construction from Arizona State University in 1980. He started building with his Father and Grandfather in Pennsylvania at a very early age and became a Union Laborer in Arizona and Nevada during his high school and college years, gaining hands-on construction experience working in the trades during that time.
Upon graduation from college, Dave was hired by Perini Building Company as an Engineer. Over the next 23 years, after managing many of the company’s most successful projects as a Project Manager and Project Executive, he grew to become the Vice President of Operations for Nevada. Observing a diminishing level of service in the construction arena in Las Vegas, Dave took the opportunity in 2005 to start his own company.
Additionally, he and his company have embraced and fostered a large effort to promote Diversity on their construction projects throughout the multiple markets in which they work.
Brent Sanders grew up in the North-Central California area before moving to Las Vegas when he was 12. After high school, Brent worked in the construction trades for 10 years performing jobs ranging from installing billboards to framing homes. Due to his passion for this type of work, he attended UNLV where he graduated in 1990 with a dual Major in Civil Engineering and Construction Management, and accepted an intern position with Perini Building Company.
During his 15 years at Perini, Brent grew from Engineer to General Superintendent, where he supervised large scale, ground-up construction projects. Some notable projects included Luxor Hotel and Casino, Caesars Palace Spa Tower and Casino, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and Marriott Timberlodge Resort in South Lake Tahoe. Brent has also worked on many other casino properties remodeling hotel towers, casinos, bars, restaurants, and theaters among other things.
Brent is well experienced with being the lead contact with Owners and Operations teams, and his reputation for continually solving unique challenges has earned him respect throughout the industry.
Steve Hamlin grew up in the Metropolitan Detroit area and studied Civil Engineering at the University of Detroit. Through college he interned at an A/E Design firm, an experience that helped him gain an understanding of the effort and coordination required to assemble design packages that would prove beneficial in his future preconstruction efforts.
In 1994 Steve graduated and accepted a position with Perini Building Company. After early stops throughout the Midwest building riverboat casinos, Steve relocated to Las Vegas where he gained valuable large project experience. Over the next decade, he worked as a Project Engineer and Superintendent on half of a dozen casino resort projects, each in excess of $100,000,000, and his varying responsibilities on those projects exposed Steve to the intricacies of his trade.
Based upon his performance as the Sr. Project Manager coordinating construction of the MGM Grand Detroit Casino, Steve was later retained by MGM Resorts International to serve as an Owner’s Representative overseeing the contractor building the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas at Project CityCenter.
